Born and raised in Reading, PA, he attended and received a Bachelors Degree, as well as a Masters Degree, in Education at Kutztown University in Kutztown, PA. He was at Board level of the American Federation of Teachers’ Union, asst. vice principal for four years, and mentor and consultant on curriculum planning.

He relocated to Atlantic City in 1988 where he is presently Executive Director and Community Relations of the Metropolitan Business & Citizens Association (MBCA), a non-profit civic business group which is in its 17th year of operation serving the Greater Atlantic City area. He is a co-founder of 1616 PR Management Company in Atlantic City and is very active in various community charitable events and fundraisers, for business, political and charitable agencies throughout Atlantic County. In addition to being the Chairman of Atlantic City FRIST PAC, he is the newest board member of the Atlantic City Municipal Utilities Authority, and serves on the Borgata Jobs Training Board, Noyes Museum of Art Board, Atlantic City Day Nursery Board, MBCA Scholarship Foundation, Bacharach Hospital Foundation Board, Alcove Grieving Center Board,, NEWH, (Atlantic City’s Hospitality Network Association), and Caring, Inc. Board, to name a few.

He is also the Co-Founder of the Schultz-Hill Foundation (501-C.3), which supports the arts, history, and education of area residents and organizations through scholarships and donations, as well as grants to area artists, historians and organizations throughout South Jersey.
